Dear Prospective WriterAction Member:

WriterAction is open to all WGAw and WGAe members in good standing. (If you are in arrears, withdrawn or financial core, you do not qualify for WriterAction access.) The only requirements are that your WGA status must be verified and you must agree to our Terms of Service (see below).

PLEASE NOTE: WriterAction is a privately owned message board. All its administrators are WGA members, but WriterAction is NOT affiliated with or owned by the WGA.

To join WriterAction, please click the link below, which will take you to a Terms of Service page. Please read the TOS, then check the “I have read, and agree to abide by the WriterAction rules” box and click the “Register” button. You will then be asked to provide a user name and password.  We require that you make your user name your full name...FIRST and LAST. (Spaces and periods are permitted, so “John Q. Doe” will work fine—and please separate your first and last name rather than registering as JohnDoe.)

When we receive your registration, you will be sent an e-mail asking you to submit some information in order to confirm your WGA status. Your account will not be activated until your WGA status has been verified.

When we receive your WGA verification info, we will confirm that you are a member of the Guild. When your WGA status as been affirmed, your account will be activated. You will then receive e-mail notification and will be able to log in.

AOL MEMBERS: We have had problems with AOL thinking our e-mails are spam. If you have a non-AOL address, please use that to register so that you will be able to receive our e-mail. Apologies for the inconvenience.

If you have any questions about this at all, please contact us at administrator@writeractionbbs.com.

Sincerely,

The Administrators of WriterAction
